First time trying this place and we weren't disappointed. Staff pointed out the size of slice of pizza provided which told us to get a salad each and split the pizza slice. Good choice. The salads were very generous for the price. And 1/2 of pizza slice was plenty. Fast service since we were only customers at time. Worth another trip when in the mood for pizza at Food Hall.

The pizza was ok. My accomplice said it tasted like "Sam's club pizza" not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. We got the whole meat lovers pizza which is about 6 slices for $30. If you buy per slice it's $7. It tasted fine to me, but I probably wouldn't buy again. The pizza did come in a big white box with plenty of cheese and pepper packets.

I visited the Italian Job restaurant yesterday. I bought one slice of the CBR, pepperoni, and truffle pizza. The pizza is very delicious but the price per slice definitely lowers my overall rating. Would highly recommend to buy a whole pizza instead of buying once slice at a time. It’s not the best pizza but it’s definitely better than your typical franchise pizza. Pepperoni and truffle were my favorite. Would have given a 4/5 but the price for your portion counteracts my review.Overall3 starsWould recommend to try at least once

One of the places I tried at Legacy Food Hall. The truffle fries tasted good but was a bit soggy for my liking. The attendant was courteous. As everything in the food hall, it is open seating and just has an overall “I wanna eat here” kind of vibe.

Elaina was very helpful. Meat Lovers amazing. Best deep dish I’ve tasted in a while.

FAQs

Is The Italian Job worth watching? ›

An elaborate techno-heist thriller, The Italian Job features some spectacular chase scenes, but for a change, the people doing the chasing are also worth watching. Not only are the action sequences well-paced and witty, but Gray neatly draws out the comic high spirits in Wahlberg's ensemble of crooks.

Which version of The Italian Job is better? ›

Verdict. Although I think the 2003 remake is arguably the better action movie but I have to go with the original starring Michael Caine as the characters are so much more entertaining, the dialogue is iconic and it never ceases to be wonderfully escapist fun.

What is Italian job about? ›

How many Italian job movies are there? ›

Legacy. Since 2000, there have been two remakes of the film. The first was released in 2003 and also called The Italian Job, set in Los Angeles and starring Mark Wahlberg as Charlie Croker. It features Donald Sutherland as John Bridger, played as more of a father figure to Croker.

Why is The Italian Job so good? ›

The Italian Job is a real blast to watch. It's a genuinely entertaining film, something you watch just for the sheer enjoyment of it. It's not heavy with drama or emotional hand-wringing, it has no cosmic statements about life, and it's not violent or profane.

Does The Italian Job have inappropriate scenes? ›

SEX/NUDITY 4 - A man and woman are shown in bed together (he's in boxer shorts and bare-chested, she's in panties and a tank top) presumably after having had sex. A man films a woman's clothed breasts and makes remarks about them. A man and a woman hug. A man puts a pin on a woman's shirt.

How old was Charlize Theron in The Italian Job? ›

The Oscar winner starred in the 2003 movie The Italian Job alongside actors Mark Wahlberg, Edward Norton, Jason Statham, and Donald Sutherland. Like her famous male co-stars in the film, Theron, 44, had to undergo training before cameras rolled — but she says she was forced to train for six weeks longer than the men.

Who is the villain in The Italian Job? ›

Steven Bandell, also known as Steven Frazelli is the main antagonist of the 2003 remake film The Italian Job. Originally he was a member of John Bridger's heist team, serving as their inside man, only to betray them after helping them steal $35 million in gold - killing John and leaving the rest of the team for dead.

Why is The Italian Job a classic? ›

Spectacular automotive stunt work, Michael Caine's stellar presence and a jocular overall tone have made this otherwise standard heist picture a favourite with British audiences.

What city was The Italian Job filmed in? ›

River Po, Turin

The scene of the Minis crossing the weir was filmed on the River Po, which runs through the centre of Turin.

Is Italian job safe for kids? ›

Parents need to know that The Italian Job is a 2003 action movie in which Mark Wahlberg and Charlize Theron plot a gold heist against a former ally who betrayed them. Characters are shot and killed with machine guns, and there are frequent gun battles, boat chases, and car chases -- including chases that go…

How much was the gold worth in The Italian Job? ›

Plot. Professional safecracker John Bridger's team have plans to steal $35 million worth of gold bars from a safe in Venice from Italian gangsters who had stolen it weeks earlier.

Is Italian job based on a true story? ›

No, The Italian Job is a fictional film and not based on a true story. However, it is inspired by real-life heists and the criminal underworld.

What happens at the end of an Italian job? ›

The Italian Job Ends On A Literal Cliffhanger

After outrunning the police, they ditch the Minis, load the gold onto a bus, and take off with the rest of the crew on a long, winding mountain road. Then, the bus spins out of control and dangles over the edge of a cliff.

Is Italian job a comedy? ›

The Italian Job is a pure British action/comedy, even though it drags on a little to long in the second act, the third act finishes the film with one of the best car sequences along with one of the ballsiest endings in cinematic history that still leaves film fans wondering what happened five decades later.

Is The Italian Job 1969 a good movie? ›

Besides being a very good comedy caper film, "The Italian Job" (1969) is one heck of a satire of the British penal system. Every scene back at the prison with Mr. Bridger is hilarious.

Is The Italian Job worth watching Reddit? ›

Truth is I loved it, thought on its own it was a great film and actually if you wanted to be a bit outside the box with it it was kinda more like a sequel as it's all post the 'Italian Job' I know virtually nothing translates from the old to the new one.

Is Made in Italy worth watching? ›

While the movie is far from flawless, its sad moments feel earned and there are plenty of gags that work. A more substantial, meatier story would have served both stars better, but Made In Italy is primarily worth watching to see the father and son duo play to each other's strengths.
